Drama in the Parlour is an eccentric offering based on an old style radio show. The entertainment features comedy sketches, serials, song and advertising from fictitious sponsors 'Fegwell's multi restorative all natural infallible compound'.
It is performed in the parlour of Stocksfield Hall and the experience begins from the moment you arrive and hand over your ticket (and disbelief) to Tilley the coat check girl. Go with it, it's all clean, silly fun and it's popularity is growing. Tickets for the Thursday and Friday are sold out but there are a few left for Saturday 2nd April. The venue only holds 30 per show so book now.
Tickets £5 from The Stencil Library 01661 844844 and Stocksfield newsagents.
Drama in the Parlour is written by local writer and actor Alex Swan.
