Hadrian's Wall produce to be shown off at trade fair
Small local producers are being urged to show off their goods at an event designed to introduce them to buyers.
Hadrian's Wall Heritage has organised the Locally Produced Trade Fair, which will be staged in Hexham next month.

It wants businesses producing everything from food and drink to textiles, greetings card and jewellery, to attend the event where they will be able to show off their goods to buyers from around the region and hopefully secure orders for the coming tourist season.
The Locally Produced Scheme was relaunched last year with the aim of encouraging suppliers, local people and tourists to use products produced in the area.
Almost 100 businesses based along Hadrian's Wall from South Shields in the East to Ravenglass on the West Cumbrian coast are now members of the project.
Julie Sloan, pictured, who runs the scheme, said: "The range and quality of locally produced food, drink, arts and crafts on offer in Hadrian's Wall Country is really very impressive.
"The 2008 trade fair was a great success so we're expecting a lot of people will want to take part again this year."
The event on March 17 has been timed to coincide with Tynedale Council's 'distribution day', where tourism businesses can collect leaflets about the area to give to visitors.
Businesses interested in taking part in the trade fair should contact Ms Sloan by telephone on (01434) 609 700 or email julie.sloan@hadrianswallheritage.co.uk.
